چکیده
Antifriction alloys such as AlSn20Cu are key material options for sliding bearings used in machinery. Uniform distribution and a near-equiaxed granularity tin phase generally considered to be ideal characteristics of an antifriction alloy, although these properties vary by fabrication method. In this study, analyze the variation microstructure with method, prepared three methods: semi-continuous casting, semi-solid die spray forming. Bearing blanks subsequently from fabricated using different processes. Morphological information, total area ratio average particle diameter phase, quantitatively characterized. For deformation annealing involved casting leads prolate shape. The is 12.6 µm, overall state related direction. presents both nearly spherical strip shapes, 9.6 µm. forming blocking hot extrusion equilateral shape, 6.2 These results indicate that, preparation methods analyzed provides shortest process flow time, whereas finer more uniform tin-phase structure may obtained spray-forming process. method greatest potential industrial application, therefore promising possibility further optimization.

Optimization of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Al-A360 Produced by Semi-Solid Casting
Semi-Solid Casting (SSM) is a new process that could produce globular structures with mechanical properties. The cooling slope method (CLM) is a one of this process that was employed to produce the A360 feedstock. In this method, The dendritic primary phase in the conventionally cast A356 alloy has transformed into a non-dendritic one. In this paper, The molten alloy with the temperature (PT) o...
متن کاملContinuous Roll Casting of Aluminium Alloys– Casting Parameters Analysis
The continuous roll casting process (CRC), consisting of continuous strip casting between rolls, is now well known. It was introduced by the SCAL Company (Pechiney Ugine Kuhlmann Group) 60 years ago 1 . The process consists of solidifying aluminum or aluminum alloys between the water-cooled rolls of a duo rolling mill. From the moment when solidification is completed to the moment when the stri...

Although the role of dental casting alloys has changed in recent years with the development of improved all-ceramic materials and resin-based composites, alloys will likely continue to be critical assets in the treatment of missing and severely damaged teeth. Alloy shave physical, chemical, and biologic properties that exceed other classes of materials. The selection of the appropriate dental c...
متن کاملContinuous Casting
Continuous casting is used to mass produce basic metals into long, semi-finished shapes with constant cross section, which are later processed into over 800 million tons of steel, 20 million tons of aluminum, and 1 million tons of copper, nickel, and other metal products in the world each year. Cross-sections can be rectangular, for later rolling into plate or sheet, square for long products, c...
متن کاملA new insight into high-strength Ti62Nb12.2Fe13.6Co6.4Al5.8 alloys with bimodal microstructure fabricated by semi-solid sintering
It is well known that semi-solid forming could only obtain coarse-grained microstructure in a few alloy systems with a low melting point, such as aluminum and magnesium alloys. This work presents that semi-solid forming could also produce novel bimodal microstructure composed of nanostructured matrix and micro-sized (CoFe)Ti2 twins in a titanium alloy, Ti62Nb12.2Fe13.6Co6.4Al5.8. The semi-solid...
